Refund Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This policy describes what happens to your money and your credits when a purchase does not work out. It matches what the product actually does rather than what a template would say.
What you are buying
Credits are the only meter. One action costs a published number of credits, and that number is the same whichever door you use — our web app, the command line, or your own agent through the connector.
- A plangives you a monthly credit allowance, renewed each period. At each renewal, credits above your plan’s rollover cap expire.
- A top-up gives you a credit balance bought outright. It never expires.
- A module gives you access to a capability rather than credits, for as long as the subscription lasts.
The free allowance
Every new account receives a free credit allowance. There is no trial period, no separate trial plan, and no card taken before it. The allowance renews each month and does not roll over.
Refunds
- A subscription is refundable within 14 days of the first payment on that subscription, provided the credits granted by that payment are substantially unspent. Where credits have been spent, we refund the unused proportion.
- A renewal payment is not automatically refundable, because the allowance it buys is made available in full at the moment it is paid. Contact us — a renewal nobody used is one we would rather refund than argue about.
- A top-up is refundable while its credits are unspent. Once spent, the work has been performed and the vendors we pay to perform it have already been paid.
- A module is refundable within 14 days if the capability it grants has not been used.
When a payment is refunded, the credits it bought are removed from your balance. Your remaining credits, and anything you bought separately, are untouched.
What we do not refund
- Credits already spent on completed work.
- A period you used. Cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current one.
- Credits that expired at a renewal above your plan’s rollover cap.
Failed and refused actions
An action that fails is not charged. If a request cannot be completed, the credits reserved for it are returned to your balance in full. You do not need to ask, and there is nothing to reclaim.
If your balance cannot cover an action, we refuse it before doing the work rather than partway through, and we tell you what it costs and what you have left.
Changing your plan
- An upgrade takes effect immediately, and you are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your period.
- A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal, so you keep the plan you already paid for until the period you paid for ends.
- Your credit balance is not reduced when you change plan. At the next renewal, the new plan’s rollover cap decides how much of an unspent balance carries forward. Credits you bought as a top-up are never affected.
Cancelling and leaving
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep the credits you have already been granted until they expire at the renewal that would have followed.
Requesting account removal is different, and it is immediate. It cancels your subscription at once rather than at the period end, so you are not billed again, and the current period’s remaining credits are forfeited. We say this on the screen before you confirm, not after. Your billing records are retained for the period the law requires, with your identity removed from them.
Disputed payments
If you dispute a payment with your bank, the credits that payment bought are removed from your balance. We would rather you contacted us first — a dispute takes weeks and costs both of us a fee.
Tax
Prices are shown exclusive of tax unless stated otherwise. Business customers may supply a tax registration number at checkout, which we use to apply the correct treatment for cross-border sales.
How to ask
Contact us with the account address and the payment concerned. Every purchase carries an invoice you can reach yourself from the billing portal, including its reference.
