Venues, halls and sectors

Gulfood 2026 was the first edition to run at both venues at once. The organiser says the show covers dairy, fresh produce, oils, beverages, meat, grains and food logistics. Its home page shows 12 sectors in its headline figures and describes 11 dedicated sourcing sectors.

In 2026 the sectors were split by venue:

  • Dubai World Trade Centre

Beverages, Dairy, Meat & Poultry, Power Brands.

  • Dubai Exhibition Centre

World Food; Rice, Pulses & Grains; Gulfood Fresh; Grocery Trade; Gulfood Logistics. Gulfood Startups was also new in 2026.

The 2027 hall plan is not published by the organiser as of 19 Oct 2026. Plan for moving between two venues: the organiser's 2026 post-show report says 59% of visitors successfully navigated both venues.

Who exhibits and who visits

Exhibitors include food producers, brand owners, national pavilions, startups and logistics firms. In 2026 the largest national participation to date came from India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and the USA.

The organiser lists these visitor groups:

  • trade authorities and ministries
  • retail and hospitality chains
  • manufacturers and distributors
  • investors and private equity firms
  • startups and foodtech companies
  • academics and sustainability leads

In 2026, 60% of visitors were international. That suits UAE traders and re-exporters who buy for the Gulf and beyond, and the exporters who want to reach them.

What sells at Gulfood

The show is built around bulk and branded food trade:

  • staples: rice, pulses, grains and oils
  • meat and poultry
  • dairy
  • fresh produce
  • beverages
  • branded grocery

The Big Deal Hub runs curated meetings between premium buyers and exhibitors. The organiser reported 3,500+ of these meetings in 2026.

How to visit or register

  • Visitors

register on the organiser's 2027 visitor registration page. You must register to get in, and badges can't be transferred. Visitor ticket prices for 2027 are not published by the organiser as of 19 Oct 2026.

  • Exhibitors

use the exhibitor enquiry form or see the Why exhibit page.

  • Watch for fraud.

The organiser says genuine messages come only from @ind-group.ae, @ind-group.co and @dwtc.com. It also says it does not sell or authorise the resale of exhibitor or visitor data. Treat anyone selling a "Gulfood exhibitor list" with caution.

You can filter it by country, category and venue.

Planning checklist

For exhibitors

  1. Book early and confirm your venue and sector. With two venues, visitors split their time.
  2. List 30–50 target buyers by country and product. Before you invite them, check that they actually import your product.
  3. Prepare prices, Incoterms, MOQs, lead times and certificates (for example halal or health certificates) for each market.
  4. Confirm the HS code for each product, so buyers can check duties quickly.
  5. Book meetings before the show. Ask about the Big Deal Hub if you qualify.
  6. Decide how you'll capture leads at the stand: cards, badge scans and notes.
  7. Follow up within 48 hours.

For visitors and buyers

  1. Register early. Badges are personal.
  2. Shortlist suppliers in the exhibitor search by country and category.
  3. Check each supplier's shipment history and markets before you meet.
  4. Plan your days by venue, not only by hall.
  5. Bring clear specs: product, grade, packaging, volume, destination port and target price.
  6. Only trust messages from the organiser's own email domains.

For writing to contacts after the show, see our guide to the trade show follow-up email.

How EximAgent helps

Before the show: check suppliers and buyers in trade data. EximAgent holds US import bills of lading, plus customs declarations from Colombia, Peru and Uruguay. Records run up to mid-2026, and coverage dates vary by country.

Example for Gulfood's Rice, Pulses & Grains sector: say a rice buyer shortlists an exporter. They can look up HS 100630 (semi-milled or wholly milled rice), then check whether that exporter appears in US import records under the code, which US consignees it ships to, and how recently. The same check works for a Latin American exporter at Gulfood using our Colombia, Peru and Uruguay records. Results depend on what each source records for that company.

You can also look up a company in the company directory and check routes with port codes.

At Gulfood and after. Gulfood runs across two venues, so a stand team is often split. The Expo agent talks with visitors at your stand by voice or text and saves each lead to your CRM, and Outbound can send the follow-up emails once the show closes. To log contacts from cards instead, try the free business card scanner. Expo is set up with our team.
